Job Description

As a member of the \“Ground Support Systems and Services and Support\“ team, your responsibilities include:

1. Supporting an agile team in implementing new requirements in C++.
2. Independently creating and executing tests, and integrating developed components into existing software.
3. Extending simulation applications for sensor data generation and graphical evaluation tools.
4. Deploying and operating applications in containerized environments (Docker), including deployment, configuration, and orchestration of multiple containers.
5. Developing and implementing solutions using Python and AI / Machine Learning.
6. Designing and implementing modern sensor data processing systems, including developing and extending algorithms in tracking and fusion.
7. Ensuring adherence to development processes and quality standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor\’s degree in Informatics or related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in application and development of algorithms in tracking and fusion.
3. Experience with AI / Machine Learning technologies.
4. Excellent knowledge of C++ on Linux.
5. Proficiency in Python development.
6. Familiarity with software development tools such as Visual Studio.
7. Experience in GUI development using C++ and Qt.
8. Experience with ARM architecture and programming on ARM.
9. Experience with message brokers / middleware (e.g., DDS, Kafka).
10. Fluent in German and English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
