For more information, visitwww.merkle.com .The focus of your activities will be the oversight on and the development of complex web applications enabling great user experiences and multi-channel strategies based on Magnolia DXP Platform.Responsibilities:Designs and implements Magnolia solutionsLeading projects as tech leadTakes responsibility for the technical architecturePerforms the role of subject matter expert for Magnolia DXPQuickly learns and designs integrations with various marketing technologiesCommunicates with both non-technical clients and technical development teamsExperience in following Agile development practicesAbility to get things done without being micromanagedExcellent written and oral communication skills (English)Technical proficiency to accurately document codeRequire minimal supervision and provide oversight for assigned projectsPrepare proposals and time estimates for future workSchedules work to meet completion dates and technical specificationsQualifications:3+ years of experience with CMS systems such as Magnolia or Adobe Experience ManagerExperience with creating custom Magnolia components and templates is a big plus5+ years of experience in software development5+ years of experience with Java5+ years of experience with HTTP and REST API usageGood knowledge of Java as well as experience with standard software frameworks (Spring and Blossom)Advanced knowledge and experience with integrations to backend systemsExperience utilizing common CI/CD toolchains, e.g. Git, Jira and ConfluenceVery good knowledge of current web technologies (Java/JEE) and/or experience with software frameworks (e.g. Spring)Knowledge of WebServices (REST and/or SOAP)Familiar with Maven/Gradle and Kubernetes / HelmExperience in development environments such as Eclipse or IntelliJAbility to produce accurate development estimates based on high-level business and/or technical requirementsAdvanced architecture design and diagrammingAdvanced code design and execution skillsAdvanced Interpersonal skills and the ability to work/learn as part of a teamAdvanced Knowledge of a ticket-based tracking systemAdvanced organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsAdvanced Troubleshooting and configuration skillsAdvanced skills in providing confident and polite customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English, client-oriented and internallyUniversity or college degree in computer science or business information systemsAdditional informationWe work with motivated people, who support and enrich each other.
