Sr. Salesforce Developer – Salesforce API Integration – ServiceNow (REMOTE) – ITmPowered

The Sr. Salesforce Developer will develop API Integrations with Salesforce API and ServiceNow APIs. Within the Cybersecurity Risk Management group, this position will mainly focus on API integration between Salesforce and ServiceNow. Develop APIs to integrate Salesforce with ServiceNow and other platforms. Drive API Integration architecture and solutions design including Salesforce development, Salesforce API, ServiceNow API, SQL skills, system integration using Python or JAVA, and system architecture and design. Work closely with technical, functional, and cybersecurity risk management teams to understand the business requirements and plan technology architecture and solutions in line with best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop API integration between Salesforce and ServiceNow systems.
• Salesforce API Development and Automation
• ServiceNow API Development and Automation
• SQL Development
• System integration using Python or JAVA
• System Architecture and Design.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple stakeholders on this project and deliver high-quality solutions to meet deadlines.
• Full lifecycle application development including business requirements review and refinement, solution design, development, testing, and documentation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• 8+ Years Software Development
• Salesforce Development: (Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, Salesforce APIs, Gearset.) Knowledge of the Salesforce Data Model for Declarative functionality versus apex infrastructure.
• Salesforce API Development – API’s, REST, Web Services, MetaData, and data transmission protocols
• ServiceNow API Development and integration with other platforms.
• SQL Development – Solid experience with SQL and Salesforce underlying data structure, SQL, SOQL, data flows.
• System integration using Python or JAVA.
• System Architecture and Design.
• Preferred skills: Java Programming, JIRA, GIT, Python

Soft skills:

• Ability to collaborate with others, leveraging Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Delivers high quality solutions and meets deadlines. Proactively communicates status with the team.
• Comfortable working remotely with team members around the country. Self-starter with intellectual curiosity.

LOGISTICS:

• Work remotely anywhere in Domestic US. MUST WORK 8-5 M-F PACIFIC TIME.
• Contract role through end of the year with potential for extension and/or conversion to perm.
• COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster Required – OR must provide valid medical exemption from doctor in advance.
• Must be able to successfully pass a 12-panel drug screen, 10-year background check, employment verification.
• You will need to be a current US Citizen or valid Green Card holder. No need for a visa now or in future. This role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.
