Create and maintain a broad range of cloud solutions for customers and internal use, involving both frontend and backend, featuring extended knowledge of scripting and static typesafe languages to further build out the Kompany team’s platform capabilities. Enrich the team with experience in following, extending and exercising agile SDLC practices on business and technical level end to end.

Engineering Skills:

• Plan and design architecture/projects with the team and in alignment with Assistant Dir.
• Identify feasible solutions for a problem.
• Evaluate pros and cons given specifications and anticipated architecture strategy.
• Efficiently present and argue about architecture to receive a decision.
• Demonstrate critical judgment weighing the benefit of a change vs its implications as well as local and global impact.
• Actively participate and ensure system stability during CRs/MRs and outages.

Ownership:

• Identify the right solutions to solve ambiguous, open-ended problems.

Soft Skills:

• Able to give constructive feedback.
• Excellent English communication capabilities, able to paraphrase, explain, and anticipate where to be brief and where it’s necessary to be elaborate.

Responsibilities:

• Be in contact with stakeholders.
• Support awareness and procedural correctness among peers.
• Identify delays in progress and suggest mitigation strategies to meet deadlines.

Qualifications/Required Background:

• 3+ years’ work experience in similar positions or a university degree in IT.
• Experience working with international teams or excellent English skills.
• Knowledge of web development/technology/security standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Preferably strong knowledge of statically typed languages/paradigms in PHP, TypeScript, or comparable languages.
• Preferably strong knowledge of dynamically typed languages/paradigms (like JavaScript).
• Knowledge of DevOps and/or CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development and SDLC best practices.
• Ability to translate design into a webpage using HTML, CSS, JavaScript; knowledge of SASS and Figma is a plus.
• Experience with RDMS, particularly MariaDB.
• Experience with code versioning, particularly GIT.

Beneficial, Not Strictly Required:

• Graph Databases, Cypher.
• Fulltext indexing/search engines.
• SysOps basics, networking.
• SOA practices, message passing, asynchronous programming paradigms (promises, async/await).

Annual base salary gross: 53,900.00. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees.
