Our Munich Research Center focuses on advanced technology research, product design, and strategic engineering. We are currently seeking a Steering Systems (EPS/SbW) Function Design and Tuning Principal (m/f/d) to lead development and optimization of control strategies for next-generation steering systems.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Research, develop, and tune steering features to enhance driving experience.
2. Integrate steering systems with vehicle dynamics controllers.
3. Perform vehicle-level testing and calibration.
4. Use modeling tools like Vector Canape, Canoe, dSpace, and Matlab-Simulink.
5. Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity standards.
6. Contribute to HMI strategy for driver interaction.

Required expertise:

• Master’s or higher in Automotive Engineering, Control Systems, or related field, focusing on steering systems.
• At least 6 years of experience in control systems for Steering/SbW or chassis systems.
• Proven control algorithm design experience, especially for autonomous driving.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English; willingness to travel to China (~20%).
