System Engineer Virtualization (m/f/d)

A leading international provider of end-to-end communications solutions for mission-critical networks is seeking a System Engineer. The company’s focus is on the reliable, efficient, and sustainable production, transmission, and processing of voice, data, and video information. They employ around 700 people at 12 different locations in Europe, with the headquarters in Vienna.
Your Tasks:
- System integration for mission-critical networks
- Planning and implementation of virtualisation based on RedHat Openshift, KVM or Kubernetes
- Optimisation and automation of deployments
- Verification and acceptance tests
- Creation of accompanying documentation such as design documents, test plans, test protocols, instructions, etc.
- Responsible for the coordination and implementation of activities for customers worldwide
Your Qualifications:
- HTL / FH / university degree in telecommunications or comparable training.
- Ideally several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- MUST HAVE: Very good knowledge of Openshift and KVM virtualization as well as IP-Know How
- MUST HAVE: Experience with Linux administration
- Willingness to travel, approx. 20%
- Proficiency in English.
