The Applications and Systems department has product responsibility for the editorial and production systems used in the areas of television, radio and the internet. This includes the provision, operation and implementation of new workflows in the applications and systems for which it is responsible, specialist support and the provision of expertise.
To strengthen our dedicated and motivated team in the Radio Systems group, we are looking for a:n System Engineer as soon as possible.
THESE ARE YOUR NEW TASKS
- You will be responsible for ensuring the trouble-free operation and technical quality of IT-based production systems in the networked production infrastructure in radio broadcasting
- You are responsible for the further development of the responsible systems by configuring or commissioning the respective manufacturer as well as the administration of the client and server components
- You will also be responsible for troubleshooting at second level and for qualifying and forwarding complex errors to the manufacturer
- You develop and implement emergency and safety concepts, plan maintenance work and carry it out independently
- Your tasks also include advising and working on projects as well as maintaining documentation for system changes
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- You have a degree (e.g. with a focus on media technology or media informatics) or a comparable qualification
- You have extensive experience in support, maintenance and further development of IT and production applications, in service and ideally in the area of networked, cross-media production infrastructure
- You also have knowledge of modern IT-based media production technology
- You are characterized by your strong teamwork and cooperation skills as well as your ability to make decisions, even under time pressure
- Your willingness to learn and develop with regard to new technologies and tasks rounds off your profile
