Business Analyst – BFSI Domain

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirement gathering, solution design, and implementation support for key digital and financial transformation projects.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.Translate business needs into clear user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.Lead requirement workshops and stakeholder meetings across business units (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Insurance, Investment, etc.).Perform gap analysis, impact assessment, and feasibility studies for system enhancements and new implementations.Collaborate with developers, testers, and UX teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated and delivered.Support UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.Maintain product backlogs and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.Monitor KPIs and generate regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in the BFSI domain.Strong understanding of BFSI processes such as Core Banking, Lending, Payments, Insurance Operations, Wealth Management, or Regulatory Compliance.Experience in writing user stories, use cases, process diagrams (BPMN/UML), and functional specifications.Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Visio, etc.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with digital transformation projects, mobile/web banking platforms, or FinTech products.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like Basel, FATCA, AML/KYC, IRDA, SEBI guidelines.Exposure to APIs, data mapping, or integration projects.Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Agile (CSPO, SAFe, etc.) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
