Enable and improve – Your responsibilities:

As an Azure Data Engineer, you’ll become a key player in shaping and optimizing a dynamic data analytics platform powered by Azure cloud services, with a particular focus on Azure Data Explorer (ADX). This is not just about keeping things running—it’s about driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of platform management! You’ll dive into monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization, ensuring the platform is running at peak performance. You’ll champion security hardening, guaranteeing data integrity, while mastering FinOps to keep costs efficient. And with a professional’s touch, you’ll handle infrastructure as code, provide trainings, and work closely with stakeholders to take care of all the functional requirements. Essentially, you’re involved in every part of managing a high-quality, professional data platform.

Your Ownership – You bring:

• Curiosity for Cloud Technologies: You have a natural curiosity for how cloud services work, and you love diving deep into Azure or other cloud platforms. You’re always eager to experiment with new tools and technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
• Passion for Data: You’re fascinated by the power of data and enjoy the idea of working with massive amounts of IoT data to unlock insights, improve processes, and drive innovations in data analytics.
• Interest in Collaboration and IT Dynamics: You’re keen on understanding the mechanics of modern IT collaboration—whether it’s how agile teams communicate or how cross-functional projects are orchestrated. You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments and love contributing to a shared vision.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Challenges excite you! You enjoy solving complex problems, especially those related to cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, or optimizing system performance.

• Proactive in Monitoring and Alerting: You understand the importance of keeping an eye on systems and love the thrill of optimizing performance through monitoring, alerting, and fine-tuning systems.
• Proficiency in German at a minimum level of B2 (as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)).
