What You’ll’ Be Doing
As an European Sales Planner at our Munich Office your main contribution will be to plan, forecast and optimize the assortment for our wholesale, retail and distribution channels. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring we have the right products for the right time; ensuring that stock levels are managed in line with company targets. You will be executing the buy strategy, while ensuring there is the appropriate amount of stock to execute the sales plans. You will report to the GM Planning.
You Will Play a Key Role In This By
- Pre seasonal planning of on top replenishment needs for the wholesale, retail & distribution channels in Europe, confirming the pre booking goals and making wider recommendations for the replenishment needs.
- In season planning ensuring adjustments to the forecast are made, reacting in line with the latest performance status and maintaining the housekeeping on reserved order.
- End season planning giving recommendations on clearing excess inventory to the sales team.
- Post seasonal analysis, with recommendations for future season planning aligning with the sales channel teams.
- Partner regularly with the sales team on stocks and sales status.
- Generate market insights supporting revenue strategy, budgeting, and other key business initiatives.
- Develop and track KPIs aligned with market strategies, focusing on distributions, rate of sales, profitability, ROI, and relative price/customer/portfolio profitability.
- Trade analysis highlighting both risk & opportunity, with supporting insights and proposed actions.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to plan new product launches, builds, and strategies for clearing discontinued inventory.
- Work with logistics to manage inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock for projected volumes and successful sell-through.
- Support planning team with any ad hoc requirements.
In this role, we\’d like you to be located at our Munich Office.
What You\’ll Bring To The Sock Drawer
We think that you:
- Hold an academic degree from fashion and/or business education or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in a similar role
- Have a strong communication skills in written and spoken English and German
- Are proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
