Software Developer - Power Control (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, improve, and maintain charging functions and power control features such as power sharing, cooling/derating, grid control, battery storage, vehicle-to-grid (V2G), and depot charging.
• Extend the charging interface between EVs, EVSEs, and the grid according to new standards and market trends (e.g., MCS, bi-directional power transfer, load balancing).
• Deliver market-leading power sharing functionalities.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis in the field.
• Participate in interoperability and conformance testing.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant work experience.
• Strong skills in C/C++ or Python.
• Experience with version control systems (GIT) and build environments.
• Knowledge of control theory, energy systems, or real-time optimization.
• Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with energy and charging standards is advantageous.
• Autonomous, solution-oriented work style with analytical thinking.
• Enthusiasm, good communication skills, and team spirit.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German and/or Italian is a plus.
