How you can make a difference :

You will be responsible for designing clinician-facing workflows and interfaces that are not only intuitive and efficient but also safe and compliant with regulatory standards for medical devices (e.g., FDA, IEC). You will collaborate closely with product managers, clinical experts, software engineers, and regulatory experts to ensure that usability and human factors are core to our product development process.

• Conduct user research and contextual inquiry with ICU staff, Nurses, and Respiratory Therapists

• Design and iterate wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications

• Translate clinical workflows into safe, efficient UI interactions

• Drive usability and human factors engineering activities per IEC/ FDA guidance

• Lead formative and summative usability testing and document findings

• Collaborate with regulatory and QA teams to generate Human Factors Engineering (HFE) documentation for 510(k) submission

• Contribute to design system for consistency across application

• Work with developers to ensure design intent is implemented accurately

That\’s what you bring along :

• 5+ years of UX design experience, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments

• Experience designing clinician-facing or medical device interfaces

• Strong portfolio of interaction design work, especially for complex systems

• Knowledge of human factors engineering standards (IEC, FDA HFE guidance)

• Experience with usability testing and risk-based design

• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Further qualifications would be an advantage:

• Background in cognitive psychology, HCI, or industrial design

• Experience with Class II or III medical device software

• Familiarity with QMS integration for design outputs

• Exposure to ICU or critical care environments (even shadowing experience)
