pPostdoctoral Research Fellow in Adaptive Optics for Ultrafast Laser-matter Interaction /ppEPFL - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne /ppNeuchâtel, Switzerland /ph3Mission /h3pTo strengthen our research program on laser-based methods to tailor material properties, we are looking for a post-doc to investigate advanced wavefront shaping methods based on adaptive optics applied to the context of nonlinear laser-matter interaction. /ph3Main duties and responsibilities /h3ulliDefine relevant research and experimental plans, sustained with theoretical considerations and knowledge of the relevant literature; /liliConduct experiments and analyze data; /liliReport and disseminate the research outcome in journal publications and at international conferences; /liliInteract and collaborate with other lab members as well as with industrial partners; /liliOccasionally supervise undergraduate students (bachelor or master levels); /liliContribute to the laboratory operations through shared duties. /li /ulh3Profile /h3ulliYou recently obtained a PhD in optics, applied physics or related fields with a strong knowledge of optics; /liliYou have experience in adaptive optics as well as hands‑on experience with optical setups involving lasers; /liliYou have a keen interest in research in the field of nonlinear optics, ultrafast lasers and/or laser-matter interaction; /liliYou are independent, creative, solution-oriented, flexible and a team-player. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
