Senior Finance Analyst

pCome Innovate Motion with Us Join us as a Senior Finance Analyst and take ownership of the financial review and analysis for Johnson Electric. In this highly visible role, you will go beyond the numbers, challenging results, uncovering key business drivers, and turning financial data into meaningful insights. Working closely with our Shared Service Centre and European Finance Leadership, you will oversee PL and balance sheet reviews, CIT calculations, and Swiss statutory reporting, ensuring financial information is accurate, compliant, and ready to support confident business decisions. /ph3Your responsibilities will be to: /h3ulliLead the monthly PL review, analysing variances against budget, forecast and prior year, and providing clear explanations for key movements /liliReview the monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of outstanding items /liliOversee key accounting areas, including provisions, accruals, intercompany balances, and AP, AR and fixed asset reconciliations /liliPrepare financial analysis and management commentary for European Finance Leadership as part of the monthly reporting process /liliPrepare the annual and interim corporate income tax (CIT) computations, including tax provision, deferred tax and supporting reconciliations /liliPrepare the CIT package for review by the Finance Manager and technical review by the Group CIT team and coordinate with external tax advisors on filings and assessments /liliOwn the JE statutory reporting calendar and ensure all filings are submitted on time, including the transaction summary reporting to the Swiss National Bank (SNB) /liliSupport preparation of the Swiss statutory financial statements (Swiss Code of Obligations) and reconciliation to Group (IFRS) reporting /liliCoordinate the external audit for JE: prepare the PBC list, respond to auditor queries and track audit findings to closure /liliClose collaboration and communication with our Shared Service Centre in Hatvan (GL/FA, AP, AR, VAT) /liliAct as the entity-side reviewer of SSC deliverables, maintain internal control documentation for the JEIAG closing, tax and reporting processes /liliContribute to automation and reporting improvements (Power BI, Excel automation, AI tools) /li /ulh3Our requirements: /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field /liliHaving Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification would be advantage /liliMore than 7 years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial analysis, ideally in an international manufacturing group /liliStrong accounting knowledge, including month-end close, financial statement analysis, Swiss statutory accounting and tax, and IFRS Group reporting /liliControlling mindset, with the ability to challenge numbers, understand key business drivers, identify root causes, and proactively manage financial risks /liliAdvanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools /liliPractical experience using AI tools or automation to speed up analysis, reconciliations or reporting is an advantage /liliERP experience, preferably Oracle; exposure to consolidation tools (e.g. Oracle FCCS) is a plus /liliProficiency in English is mandatory; French or German knowledge would be considered as advantage /liliAnalytical and data-driven mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach /liliAbility to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure with stress resilient mindset /liliExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across international teams /li /ulh3What do we offer: /h3ulliA truly international, multicultural, and fast-paced working environment /liliThe opportunity to work on impactful regional and cross-functional projects /liliExposure to a highly automated and innovative production environment /liliProfessional development and growth opportunities within a global organization /liliCollaboration with experienced international teams and finance leaders /liliCome join our global, inclusive diverse team /li /ulpOur purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
