Position Overview
As a Field Service Technician at Micron, you will play a crucial role in supporting and troubleshooting a variety of IT assets.
Your expertise will ensure that our users have a seamless experience with their devices and software, contributing to our world‑class standards.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and update PCs and portable devices
- Maintain orderly IT rooms and install equipment into data center cabinets
- Provide support for client software, including Office 365 and Teams
- Install and upgrade software applications
- Open and coordinate tickets with remote IT support groups
- Qualify service requests and route them to the appropriate resolution teams
- Develop automations leveraging AI to improve task efficiency
- Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree in electronics, computer science, or a similar field
- Several years of experience in Service Desk or Field Services technician positions
- Understanding and experience with the Windows environment (OS, SCCM, AD, O365, etc.)
- Business‑level English, intermediate German
- Valid German driving license
- Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree in electronics, computer science, or a similar area
- Over 5 years of experience in Service Desk or Field Services technician positions
- Experience working in electronics laboratories
- Solid understanding of the Windows environment and Linux
- Basic knowledge of network administration
- Strong attitude towards teamwork
- Good communication skills
- Business‑level English, intermediate German
- Valid German driving license
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range Micron estimates for this full‑time position is €44,000.00 – €80,000.00 per year.
Additional pay is determined by role, level, location, experience, education, and other factors, and may be subject to change based on business needs.
In addition to base pay, the remuneration package includes a variable plan based on personal and company performance, and discretionary benefits such as meal vouchers, corporate welfare, yearly allowance of remote working days, supplementary health insurance, life coverage, and an Employee Assistance Program.
