Tasks

Do you love bringing structure to complex topics, making projects transparent, and driving real impact from day one? Join our team at our Karlsruhe or Berlin offices. In this role within the CPO PMO, you will work closely with the CTO PMO and cross-functional teams to establish robust project management practices across the company, making sure projects, requirements, priorities and resources are clearly visible and manageable.

Tasks

  • Manage medium-sized programs and complex projects across the entire lifecycle, leading critical initiatives across various business areas, primarily at the interface between Product Management and Software Development.
  • Structure projects by status, effort, risks, dependencies, business value and resource needs, and support sponsors and idea owners with strategic plans
  • Help define and establish our project management methodology, prioritization logic (business value, effort, urgency, capacity) and refined change management process
  • Plan resources and capacity strategically, and help resolve resource conflicts across departments
  • Keep delivery status (time, budget, quality) fully transparent, escalated risks early, and report clearly to executive management and stakeholders
  • Align stakeholders with differing goals across Software Development, IT, BI, Commercial Management, Sales, Finance, Networks and Customer Care
  • Drive AI automation of PMO workflows with Claude and n8n, and mentor and coach other Project Managers in advanced planning and risk management

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field
  • Solid, demonstrated experience in project management within a technical environment (IT project management or digital delivery), including running several complex initiatives in parallel
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and agile frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum, SAFe) combined with a strong IT affinity to bridge business and technology—including proficiency in Jira and Confluence, and ideally first to intermediate experience using Claude and n8n for workflow automation.
  • Proven ability to structure complex, ambiguous topics into actionable next steps, with strong conflict resolution skills, a pragmatic, independent working style and confident communication at all stakeholder levels
  • Strong, professional working proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).

Benefits

  • Hybrid working model, and flexible working hours through trust-based working hours.
  • At some locations a subsidized canteen and various free drinks.
  • Modern office space with very good transport connections.
  • Various employee discounts for activities and products.
