Tasks

• You enjoy working on open-source projects and contributing to the development of WordPress and our plugins/themes.
• You are capable of developing and maintaining both PHPUnit/Acceptance tests and Playwright tests.
• You apply current standards and tools in WordPress software development, as well as client technologies like React.
• You enhance our WordPress product by developing WordPress plugins and themes.
• You are involved in the development of our tools and platforms, thereby purposefully shaping our entire environment.
• You work with modern service architectures utilizing container solutions and help integrate our WordPress extensions and platform specifics.

Qualifications

In the Product Development Team for WordPress, we cultivate a culture of shared responsibility at eye level. To accompany us on this exciting journey of shaping our future together, you bring the following qualifications:

• You have a degree in Computer Science or a similar qualification, or you have several years of professional experience in software development.
• You have experience in WordPress/Gutenberg development.
• You are familiar with current standards in React, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS, and you master foundational technologies such as NodeJS, Linux, Shell, Docker, and SQL.
• You are capable of creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for GitLab/GitHub.
• You speak fluent German and/or English.
