Head of Finance & Controlling (m/f/d) in Hamburg

1912 Hotels is a growing European hotel company operatingan increasingly diverse portfolio across several markets.

We are looking for an experiencedHead of Finance & Controlling (m/f/d)to take ownership ofControlling and Treasuryand help further develop the financial structuresrequired for our continued growth.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone whounderstands the hotel business, looks beyond reportingand turns financial information into action.

Your Responsibilities

Controlling & Performance

• Lead controlling across our hotel portfolio.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reporting.
• Analyse hotel P&Ls, KPIs, deviations, risks and opportunities.
• Challenge performance and forecasts together with GMs and operational teams.
• Develop management reporting, KPIs and BI structures.
• Support business cases, feasibility studies and investment decisions.

Treasury & Cash Management

• Take ownership of group-wide liquidity and cash management.
• Manage cash-flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Oversee and improve payment processes and working capital.
• Coordinate intercompany funding and liquidity requirements.
• Support banking, financing and guarantee topics.
• Establish clear treasury processes and controls.

Finance Structure & Leadership

• Develop scalable Finance structures, standards and processes.
• Improve interfaces between Finance, Accounting, Operations and Commercial.
• Support the financial integration of new openings, takeovers and conversions.
• Lead and develop the Controlling and Treasury functions.
• Work closely with the CFO, CEO and Executive Team.

What We Are Looking For

• Several years of Finance, Controlling or FP&A experience.
• Hotel or hospitality industry experience required.
• Strong knowledge of hotel P&Ls, budgeting and forecasting.
• Solid treasury, liquidity and cash-management experience.
• Leadership experience and a hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Experience with BI/reporting tools.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within our European portfolio.
