This is an engineering position with both project and construction-supervision responsibilities. The successful candidate will contribute to the construction management and local site supervision of wastewater engineering and hydraulic engineering facilities, as well as specialist foundation works. Responsibilities
- Undertake construction management for wastewater engineering facilities, hydraulic engineering facilities and specialist foundation works.
- Carry out local construction supervision for the listed technical facilities and construction measures.
- Prepare execution planning that supports the transition from approved concepts to deliverable construction work.
- Develop tender documentation for the relevant engineering and construction packages.
- Process projects across HOAI service phases 5 to 9.
- Take on project-leadership responsibilities within the advertised service-phase scope.
- Coordinate planning, tendering and supervision activities in accordance with the applicable rules and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering.
- Very good knowledge of HOAI, VOB and the relevant rules and legal requirements.
- Confident use of sector-specific AVA software, with California named as an example.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Relevant professional experience in construction supervision or site management is welcomed; the vacancy also invites applications from freelancers with relevant professional experience.
