The role requires a senior engineer who can give a product-ready shape to material that may begin as a functional request, analysis or prototype. It covers both implementation and architectural judgment: deciding how an application, service, integration or data connection should be structured so that it remains testable, understandable and capable of further development.
Daily technical work combines modern web development with backend engineering and cloud operations. The advertised tooling includes React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, SQL, NoSQL databases, GitLab, CI/CD, Docker and AWS. The breadth of that stack means that strong practical experience across the delivery path is expected, from code and APIs through deployment.
Responsibilities
- Convert functional requirements, analyses and existing prototypes into production-ready software.
- Develop modern frontend web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Build performant backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, integrations and established system landscapes.
- Use GitLab, CI/CD and Docker in development and deployment workflows.
- Deploy solutions on AWS.
- Maintain high code quality through testing, reviews, documentation and clean architecture.
- Apply AI tools in development in a way that protects quality and maintainability.
Qualifications
- Senior-level full-stack development experience.
- Very strong knowledge of Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript and SQL.
- Very strong practical experience with GitLab, CI/CD, Docker and AWS.
- Architectural understanding and the ability to turn prototypes into clean product software.
- Experience in API design, system integration and production-oriented development.
- A strong quality focus covering maintainability, testability and further development.
- Good German and English language skills.
- Preferred: Experience with large language models or AI-supported software architectures.
- Preferred: Interest in procurement, supply-chain or process-oriented B2B software.
Skills and Competencies
- Full-stack delivery across React and TypeScript interfaces, Python and FastAPI services, and data layers.
- API design and system-integration practice for existing software landscapes.
- Practical use of GitLab, CI/CD, Docker and AWS for development and deployment.
- Code-quality habits including tests, reviews, documentation and clean architectural decisions.
