Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pricing Excellence Manager (m/f/d) at our Vienna site to drive profitability through structured, market‑ and value‑based pricing approaches. Key Responsibilities
Drive and support pricing and margin improvement initiatives across the group, including developing structured pricing approaches and aligning pricing with raw‑material mechanisms. Analyze price, margin and customer performance across markets, segments and accounts; develop data‑driven models and simulations to identify and quantify profitability improvement opportunities. Translate insights into action by supporting implementation of pricing improvements (e.g., price realization, discount structures, segment differentiation) together with the business. Act as a data‑driven sparring partner for sales and business leadership, providing fact‑based input and supporting selected strategic pricing or deal situations. Develop and support differentiated, segment‑based and value‑oriented pricing approaches aligned with market dynamics and customer willingness‑to‑pay. Qualifications & Experience
Completed higher education in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field. At least 3 years of professional experience in pricing, commercial excellence, strategy consulting or a similarly analytical role. Strong track record in driving pricing, margin improvement or revenue optimisation initiatives. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Advanced Excel skills and experience with data modelling, pricing analytics or BI tools – a strong advantage. Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of financial drivers (price, volume, margin). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior management and sales teams. Proven project management skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in an international environment. Experience in FMCG, agriculture or raw‑material‑driven industries is a plus. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken. Compensation & Benefits
