Intro 3B Pharmaceuticals GmbH is a pharmaceutical biotechnology company, a leader in the discovery and optimization of peptides for the development of tumor-targeted radiopharmaceuticals. Our aim is to treat and diagnose cancers that are currently difficult to address. 3BP’s expertise ranges from substance identification to early clinical development. The Biology & Assay Technologies team is responsible for researching and evaluating new drug targets, establishing and performing screening and secondary assays to characterize novel compounds, as well as organizing in vivo studies. 3BP’s interdisciplinary Radiopharmaceutical Technologies team is responsible for the development of novel radiolabeling methods for proprietary compounds. These radiolabeled compounds are then used internally for in vitro and in vivo assays. We are currently expanding our discovery and clinical activities and are looking for a Scientist Radioligand Therapy (RLT) Discovery to support these efforts. Tasks In this role you will be part of the Assay Technologies team and work in close collaboration with 3BP’s Radiopharmaceutical Technologies team on following tasks: Hands-on development and execution of protein-, cell- and tissue-based assays (radioactive and non-radioactive) Management of routine work flows and third-party R&D service providers Data processing, in-depth analysis, documentation, and internal presentation of the results Writing and reviewing of reports (Co)-leadership of early discovery projects Requirements Solid experience in assay development and validation (in particular radioligand binding, surface plasmon resonance, and high-content cell-based assays) Experience and willingness to work with open radioactivity Expertise in tumor biology and with preclinical efficacy models Ability to analyze and combine complex data from different sources PhD Degree in a relevant field, e.g. (bio)medical sciences Post-doc and >2 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry High degree of self-organization and excellent coordination skills, strong interest in interdisciplinary team work, as well as a collaborative and open-minded work style are a must for this shared role between two teams Ability and willingness to establish and build internal relationships at all levels, confidence in communicating with multiple internal and external stakeholders and ability to deal with different perspectives on requirements and priorities is required Proficient written and spoken German and English communication skills Benefits A meaningful, multifaceted job in a motivated, supportive team Independent work in an innovative environment where each individual can achieve visible results An open and appreciative corporate culture with a strong team spirit A wide range of opportunities to help shape a growing company Opportunities for personal development Flexible working time models and a permanent position A very well-equipped, modern working environment Allowance for job ticket/bicycle, Urban Sports Club and language lessons Closing The position is based in Berlin-Adlershof.
