Head of Engineering (f / m / x) Environmental Engineering

Our customer is a young company specialising in the development and sale of technical solutions and products in the field of CO2 sequestration and humus formation, including microbacterial enrichment, as well as the exploitation of patents and all related activities.

The fast-growing company is led by experienced managers and has unique scientific capabilities and patents. The company is looking for a new partner for the further development and market readiness of the production facilities:

Head of Engineering (f / m / x)

Tasks

1. Development of a robust continuous production process for humus
2. Developing a pilot plant for biomass recycling
3. Generating and co-writing relevant IP
4. Calculating and defining flow process dynamics
5. Applying process simulation software in hydrothermal processing
6. Projecting the development and layout of new process lines and plants
7. Designing and testing of the stages of the production processes
8. Working with internal and external partners to ensure processes conformity with safety and environmental standards
9. Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets
10. Liasing with external and internal stakeholders on technological aspects
11. Liaising with installation / project engineers
12. Managing and training other engineers

Requirements

1. Degree in chemical or process engineering or similar (minimum Master degree)
2. Solid theoretical and practical experience in extrusion and chemistry
3. Background in food processing development or hydrothermal processing is preferable
4. Outstanding team players who can work in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment
5. Good command of English is required. German knowledge is beneficial but not required
