Requirements
- Minimum 7 years‘ experience in automotive-related business development sales work required
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development or related roles, preferably in technology or automotive and ideally within the in-car entertainment space (e.g., gaming, audio, or video)
- Broad and reliable network within the automotive industry, with established contacts in key departments such as infotainment, entertainment, connectivity, digital services, and third-party applications
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends, particularly in the automotive sector
- Proven ability to sell software solutions, ideally SaaS, to carmakers using a value-based sales approach, effectively demonstrating ROI and strategic advantages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and explain product benefits clearly. Alongside this, objection handling and defining strategies to advance deals that are delayed by slow decision processes
- Strategic thinker who can analyze complex sales situations, develop practical solutions, and align them with customer needs
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a results-driven mindset and a sense of urgency to capitalize on market opportunities
- Familiarity with a product-led growth strategy, effectively communicating how the product’s benefits address customer pain points and deliver value
