The programme will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardising processes to provide a cost‑effective, fit‑for‑purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. It will also remediate end‑of‑life system exposure that we risk toward the end of this decade. This role offers a senior‑manager opportunity to lead and influence by example, help others see what could be, and make it happen together with the project team. Key Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end business process mapping, scenario/use case definition, integration, and design adherence across the impacted functions. Support development, maintenance, and adherence to the ERP Global Template and the program methodology. Ensure key processes and capabilities are designed, documented, and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within program timelines and scope. Lead the program team in mapping end‑to‑end business processes/needs to solicit the right solutions, ensuring that the solutions crafted work in a well‑integrated way with other functions. Lead the Design Authority Meeting and drive identification and mitigation of design risks. Partner with the global team of Supply Chain experts in design, development, maintenance, and improvement of global processes and integration points. Establish and implement process design methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence. Run cross‑program process design interdependencies by working with respective partners to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations. Ensure planning and execution of business simulation and validation/readiness. Develop and deliver program presentations for senior‑level J&J Innovative Medicine (IM) stakeholders to advise on historical and future program status. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s / University, MBA, or equivalent degree is required. Certifications such as PMP / FPX, APICS, and/or Lean/Six Sigma / Process Excellence are helpful. Required – Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrated progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or large transformation programs. Solid experience in business process design, engineering, or optimisation. Hands‑on project delivery experience, demonstrating ability to handle project timelines and milestones in complex business environments. Experience working in a complex, global system environment and familiar with large‑scale SAP ERP project(s). Strong customer‑centric focus (internal & external), including development and management of partners and ability to engage and build relationships with senior business stakeholders. Ability to effectively lead and govern cross‑functional decision‑making bodies. Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to achieve desired outcomes. Preferred – Experience designing, developing, implementing, and leading operational technological processes within a global organisation. Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry. People management and development experience (direct or indirect reports). Other – Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally. May require up to 25% to 50% domestic and international travel, depending on business needs and primary work location.
