Job Purpose
Maximizes the growth of the assigned products within the country by developing and executing a commercial action plan based on the CVT’s brand strategy and brand plans, leading the cross‑functional execution of projects, and contributing to the Lung Cancer CVTs with local insights and recommendations. Job Responsibilities
Accountable for leading the development and execution of the local commercial action plan to position the product in line with the CVT’s strategy and achieve the committed business objectives with the agreed resources and marketing budgets. Leads the cross‑functional Local Action Team (LAT) ensuring the deployment of the commercial tactical plan and coordination of cross‑functional projects. Ensures the execution of the local cross‑functional stakeholder engagement plan with the LAT for competitive advantage and drives external focus of the LAT. Leads local commercial projects such as development/delivery of campaigns, sales material, congress presences, and market insight generation projects with an innovative omnichannel approach. Adapts, translates, and garners approval of centrally developed promotional materials. Leads and contributes to preparation of sales and cycle meetings. Plans, monitors, and tracks performance of the two brands, monitors competitive landscape, and develops partnerships with external key stakeholders to drive competitive advantage and J&J’s reputation. Contributes to the CVT by providing marketing expertise, deep local market insights, customer needs, competitor insights, and by engaging local stakeholders. Contributes to the development of the overall training plan, leads development and execution of commercial training elements, and supports the field‑based team. Supports development of the local cross‑functional business plan, leads the local commercial plan, and provides input into local financial forecasts. Contributes to the EMEA and Mid‑Sized Markets (MSM) Marketing Functional networks by sharing best practices and representing local interests. Accountable for full compliance of all projects and activities with laws and J&J regulations. Ensures continuity of supply. Competencies
Understanding of ethical considerations and responsible AI practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. Hands‑on experience generating prompts—creating, refining, and measuring prompts to boost workflow efficiency and performance. Understanding AI concepts and use cases, including agentic AI, with the ability to translate business processes into AI opportunities. Proven experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance personal productivity and/or department performance. Ability to collaborate with technical teams to identify AI requirements, evaluate feasibility, and accelerate AI‑enabled ways of working adoption. Business Administration or Life Sciences bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc or equivalent). Minimum three years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrated record of accomplishments in pharmaceutical sales or marketing. Solid understanding of the healthcare environment and pharmaceutical industry. Digital, omnichannel experience seen as an advantage. Capability to lead a cross‑functional team and strong project management skills. Fluency in English and German required. Strong business acumen with sense of urgency, strategic thinking, analytical skills, customer centricity, effective collaboration, and strong networking skills. Effective communicator with strong influencing skills, accountability, excellence in execution, high learning agility, open mindset for change, winning mindset, and ability to work in a high‑performing team.
