Senior UI/UX Designer

About the role

We are looking for a talented individual who brings their creativity and vision to our work, adding a unique personality to our team. In this position as a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with other designers and problem solvers to create innovative websites and products that set new standards.

Working directly with our research and design team, along with international development and marketing colleagues in Münster, Sofia, London, and NYC, you'll join focused teams that concentrate on only two projects at a time. This approach fosters deep focus and delivers exceptional results. To maintain efficient collaboration, you must be located in CET, GMT, or EST time zones with availability during our core working hours.

Your responsibilities

Your primary role will be to conduct user research and translate your findings into visually captivating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. You will leverage your creativity to seamlessly integrate design elements and evaluate the usability and user experience. Moreover, you will be responsible for developing prototypes for new product concepts and conducting tests to facilitate the implementation process. Consistent user research will be a fundamental aspect of your job. You will maintain open communication with our CEO and deliver regular feedback to fellow team members.

You'll work within our core principles of overdelivering on velocity and craft, owning every decision with transparent thinking, and obsessing over the details that matter while stripping away unnecessary complexity.

What you bring

• 7-10+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, or 3-5+ years with an exceptional portfolio that demonstrates mastery and innovation.
• Detail-oriented.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma and Adobe Creative Suite).

• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design approaches.

Hiring process

• Portfolio review and expectation setting: We'll review your application and invite you for a 30-minute intro call to explore your background, story, and creative approach.
• Skill assessment with real-time task: Showcase your strengths and creativity through hands-on tasks with the dedicated team, either in a focused 90-minute session or over several days, depending on the task's complexity.
• Personality assessment: We'll invite you to a 45-minute session with our leadership to explore your unique perspective, work style, and how your obsession aligns with our drive for excellence.
• Joining our team: After confirming a genuine mutual fit, you will receive an offer to join us. We will onboard you into our systems, introduce you to the entire team, and provide you with all the necessary tools and processes. The journey from application to hire typically takes 1 to 3 weeks.
