Role Description
The Wholesale Sales & Operations Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Munich. The main focus of the role is sales: growing revenue with new and existing international retail partners. You’ll also build and own the wholesale strategy, including target markets and accounts, pricing and terms, and seasonal sales targets. You’ll be the main contact for key accounts, find and win new partners who fit the brand, and lead seasonal sales campaigns, showroom presentations and trade shows. You’ll oversee wholesale operations from order to delivery, working closely with production, logistics, accounting and customer service so that fulfillment is accurate and on time. You’ll track sell-in and sell-through by region and account, and use the data to spot reorders, refine the strategy and give feedback to merchandising and design. You’ll also keep improving processes so the wholesale business can scale.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in wholesale sales, key account management or B2B business development within fashion industry
- A proven sales track record; an existing network of retail partners is a strong plus
- A strategic mindset, with experience shaping wholesale or distribution strategy, not only executing it
- A solid understanding of wholesale operations, including order management, inventory coordination and process optimization
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and confidence presenting collections
- Analytical skills for sales reporting, forecasting and performance analysis across regions and accounts
- Strong Excel skills; experience with Zedonk or a similar ERP system is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Munich, collaborate across teams and manage multiple deadlines
- Fluent English; German or other languages are an advantage
- Background in fashion, business or a related field; experience at a contemporary or premium fashion brand is a plus
