Role Description
The Team Lead role is a full-time, on-site position located in Herleshausen. The person in this role will oversee daily team operations, allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure that service and operational targets are met. Responsibilities include coordinating workflows, supporting problem resolution, and maintaining compliance with internal standards and safety procedures. The Team Lead will coach and guide team members, facilitate communication with other departments, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires proactive leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Qualifications
- Leadership and team management skills, including experience supervising or coordinating teams and providing coaching and feedback.
- Operational and organizational skills relevant to logistics or transport, such as workflow coordination, task prioritization, and process optimization.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and frontline staff.
- Problem-solving and decision‑making skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and meeting performance targets.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or a similar operational environment is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with using standard business software and digital tools; experience with operational or logistics systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work on‑site in Herleshausen, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Relevant vocational training or a degree in logistics, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
