We are looking for Key Account Manager- Motorsport (m/w/d) for our team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer relationships and serve as the primary commercial interface for various Motorsport clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Motorsport sector.
- Oversee offer management, including preparing proposals and leading the submission process.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain regular communication with senior-level customer representatives to foster strong partnerships.
- Provide on-site support to customers as needed to ensure seamless service and collaboration.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and A123 Systems headquarters, managing pricing, invoicing, and delivery follow-ups.
- Lead forecasting efforts, including monthly updates and long-term (5-year) outlooks.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in a related field
- Knowledge about Motorsport is a must-have
- Several years of professional sales experience in the automotive industry. Experience with battery technology is an advantage
- Proven experience working in a global, preferably matrix, organization
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for both parties
- Problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
