pJob Title: Test Automation Specialist – Data Testing /p h3About the Role /h3 pWe are looking for Test Automation Specialists to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks focused on data-related testing. The successful candidates will play a key role in strengthening our regression testing capability, improving test coverage, and increasing the speed and reliability of our data platform releases. This role sits at the intersection of test automation engineering and data engineering : the ideal candidate is as comfortable working with enterprise data platforms and pipelines as they are with automation tooling. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, build, and maintain an automation framework for regression testing of data platforms and pipelines /li liDevelop automated test cases covering data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation scenarios /li liExecute and maintain automated test execution cycles, integrating with CI/CD pipelines /li liIdentify gaps in existing test coverage and proactively design automated checks to close them /li liCollaborate with data engineers, QA business teams to understand data flows, translate into robust test scenarios /li liTroubleshoot test failures, distinguishing between genuine data/application defects and test/environment issues /li liDocument test frameworks, test cases, and results in a clear, maintainable way /li liContinuously improve automation coverage, execution speed, and reliability /li /ul h3Job Requirements /h3 pExperience: /p ul liStrong, demonstrable understanding of data platforms and enterprise data : data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and data governance concepts /li liHands-on experience building test automation frameworks (e.g., for regression testing) rather than only executing pre-built scripts /li liExperience with automated test case design and automated test execution, ideally in data-centric environments /li /ul h3Essential Skills /h3 ul liProficiency in at least one programming/scripting language commonly used in test automation (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) /li liExperience with SQL and querying large/enterprise datasets to validate data accuracy and integrity /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality and detail /li /ul h3Nice to Have Skills /h3 ul liExperience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, or similar) /li liExperience with test automation/ETL testing tools (e.g., Selenium, pytest, dbt tests, Great Expectations, or similar) /li liExposure to financial services or enterprise data environments /li liExperience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams /li /ul h3Culture Fit /h3 ul liDeep understanding of data : genuinely curious about how enterprise data platforms work, not just how to test them /li liFast learner, adaptable mindset : able to quickly get up to speed within BJB's fast-paced, quick-learning culture /li liSelf-starter who can work with ambiguity and evolving requirements /li liStrong communicator, able to work closely with both technical (data engineering) and non-technical stakeholders /li /ul pLocation: Zurich, minimum 3-4 days to work from office /p pStart Date: Immediate /p pTravel Required: Mostly No. On Exceptional basis- if client demands /p pAARK Tech Solutions GmbHbr/Seestrasse 11br/8805 Richterswil /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
