Your role and responsibilities
As the Local Motion Service business leader, you will be responsible for commercial (sales and marketing) activities and operational accountabilities. You will fully manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded through lean, faultless operational execution focusing on Care, Customer, Cost, and Cash. Your goal will be to maintain an extended value chain at the lowest total cost possible, while driving the top line and motivating your approximately 20-25 people team.Your role will include:• Managing the local P&L and balance (operational) for the Motion Service Denmark business.• Navigating the role in a large company matrix environment, meeting needs from several leading stakeholders locally, regionally, and globally.• Strategic and tactical sales and P&L planning on a multi-year horizon, including market prioritization rationale and approach.• Regular business reviews with leadership stakeholders.• Pricing/Costing oversight and management with pricing lead, channel stakeholders, and other key service team members.• Regular customer meetings, staff communications, on-site safety auditing, motivational events, commercial models, contracts, and close alignment with local peers on shared resources.• Marketing planning and prioritization with Function.• HSE oversight and strong controllership with a focus on electrical safety.
Qualifications for the role
- Navigate the matrix organization and lead people
- Drive commercial leadership and execute on analytical findings through your argumentation
- Minimum bachelor\’s degree in a technical field with documented commercial experience (or vice versa).
- Several years of management experience in a similar client-facing industrial service context with technical and sales operational staff.
- Good skills within problem solving, customer centricity, decision making, strategic planning, self-management, innovation, change management, and talent management.
- Must be self-driven and ambitious for improvements.
