Overview In this role you will provide technical, business process and data advice to support ongoing operations and new software development within ABB’s Information Systems. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for IS applications, oversee development and validation of IS solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders across local and global teams. The role combines business analysis, testing, and application management to deliver cost-efficient, compliant solutions. You will work in a hybrid setup with a diverse team, contributing to ABB’s mission of running what runs the world. Verantwortungsbereiche Formulate user stories with business stakeholders to translate requirements into specifications for development and support teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure use cases meet business needs Act as Subject Matter Expert in IS applications and contribute technology, business process and data expertise in projects Support IS application power-users in incident resolution and feature development Validate IS solutions through user acceptance testing and test script creation Manage a specific IS application (industrial standards management) including budget responsibility and procurement of services for internal users Zentrale Anforderungen Higher education degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent (as stated) Fluent English and good German (spoken and written) Practical experience as an IS Functional Analyst or Business Analyst, ideally in an international environment Experience as an IS Application Manager or IS Service Manager is advantageous Ability to build trusted relationships and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels Experience with requirements analysis and change management, and knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle Scrum or general Agile knowledge and Design Thinking knowledge are advantageous Strong planning, organization, coordination, and communication skills Experience or interest in industrial standards management or document management is advantageous collaboration communication stakeholder management requirements analysis Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Agile/Scrum
