Responsibilities

• In this role you are part of the contract management team for the German lead business area Motion. Versatility and exciting challenges characterize this varied task. You will focus on the entire range of contractual and commercial fundamental issues for the German lead business area Motion.
• Collaborative work is a matter of course for you; changes and optimization in processes and workflows motivate you and you approach topics with a hands-on mentality. If you also have high negotiation skills and assertiveness then become part of our contract management team.

• You will be mainly accountable for :
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of commercial contracts including design, negotiation and conclusion
• Provide support in sales, project management and procurement negotiations
• Advise on contract interpretation, risk reviews and claim management
• Assist in preparing offers and managing claims
• Work on CSI, NDA and ESCROWs

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in law, business law or similar
• First professional experience – preferably in the field of contract law; we are also happy to give ambitious young professionals a chance
• General knowledge in the area of BGB
• Knowledge of contract law – primarily an advantage in the law of obligations
• Knowledge of contract drafting (supply contracts, works contracts, service contracts) and contract review
• Deep knowledge of nuclear business, especially related to ABB-specific topics, is an advantage
• Fluent in German and English
• High assertiveness and negotiation skills combined with a hands-on mentality and independent work
• Willingness to travel temporarily up to 15% nationally
