Overview
In this role you will design, standardize, and advance test and inspection equipment used in production. You will collaborate with development, production, quality, and external partners to boost quality, safety, and efficiency of manufacturing processes. You’ll drive the integration of test systems into the production environment and lead projects for procuring and standardizing equipment. Your work focuses on reliable measurements, process optimization through automation and lean methods, and ensuring safety compliance. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to shape how tests and inspections enable world‑scale manufacturing.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop, specify, and implement test and inspection systems (ICT, functional, end‑of‑line) and integrate them into production
- Coordinate procurement projects for test equipment, including requirements gathering, supplier liaison, commissioning and standardization
- Ensure compliance with safety, machinery, and documentation requirements; manage risk assessments and approvals
- Perform and analyze measurement system analyses to ensure accurate, stable results; optimize test processes via automation, poka‑yoke, and lean methods
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Several years of professional experience in test equipment, industrial engineering, test engineering, or manufacturing engineering
- Experience in project management and implementing technical projects; knowledge of machine safety, risk assessment, and standards-compliant documentation
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and industrial automation solutions
- FMEA, SPC or value stream analysis experience is a plus
- Very good German and good English skills (written and spoken)
