Each day, you will assist the bRD /b team by executing your assigned tasks and using technical knowledge in a structured way. You will also showcase your expertise by staying abreast of the state of the art and actively applying this knowledge. /ppThe work model for the role is: hybrid /ph3You will be mainly accountable for: /h3ulliDesign, develop, and optimize power electronics building blocks and semiconductor functions for traction converter applications, with a focus on efficiency, performance, and operational reliability. /liliPerform electrical and thermal characterization, testing, and qualification of power semiconductors and passive components to ensure robust product performance. /liliDevelop and enhance power electronics building blocks for current and next-generation traction converter platforms, from concept through validation and product introduction. /liliCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across hardware, software, mechanical design, and manufacturing to solve complex technical challenges and deliver innovative bRD /b solutions. /li /ulh3Our team dynamics /h3pOur power electronics team develops power electronic building blocks and functions for our traction converter families used in vehicles from trams to locomotives, based on the most modern and reliable power semiconductor and gate control technology.
