Overview
As Global Regulatory & Public Affairs Specialist, you drive regulatory intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy to support compliance and growth for the IEC LV Motors division. You will map regulatory landscapes, assess risks, and shape strategies that align with ABB’s business priorities. You collaborate across functions and represent ABB in industry forums and with policymakers. This role offers impact by influencing regulatory directions and strengthening a culture of compliance.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Monitor international, regional, and national regulatory developments affecting IEC Low Voltage Motors
- Develop and maintain a regulatory landscape map and strategic roadmap aligned with divisional priorities
- Analyze regulatory risks and opportunities, communicating impacts and recommending actions
- Represent ABB in industry associations and external stakeholder forums, advocating for the division
- Collaborate across functions to provide regulatory guidance for product, technology, and business decisions
- Develop and deliver awareness and training initiatives to strengthen regulatory knowledge and compliance culture
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Several years of experience in regulatory affairs, standards development, public affairs, compliance, or related fields in an international environment
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards organizations and their impact on industrial products
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders
- Experience from industrial, manufacturing, automation, motors and drives, or comparable sectors is highly valued
- Fluent English; German language skills are a strong advantage
