Overview
You will lead the execution of medium-sized lab automation projects within ABB’s Service Robotics, collaborating with local and global teams to deliver technical solutions and meet contractual targets. You will manage scope, resources, risks, and customer interfaces from sales handover to service transfer. The role sits in a fast-moving, innovation-driven robotics environment with a focus on life sciences, healthcare, and food services. This is an opportunity to shape automated workflows and drive value for customers.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead the project execution from sales handover to customer service transfer
- Direct local and global project teams and manage planning, monitoring, and resources
- Monitor project progress, resources, and financials to meet goals
- Identify and manage project risks and pursue opportunities
- Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment
- Be primary interface with customers and align with requirements and feedback
- Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders for seamless deliverables
- Translate customer use cases into project specs and automation solutions
- Prepare supplementary offers and support Bid and Proposal managers in proposals
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Automation engineering tools and methodologies expertise
- Experience with clinical/analytical diagnostics environments
- Several years of automation project responsibility, preferably in laboratories
- PMP or comparable certification is a plus
- Knowledge of MDR/IVDR and GMP guidelines is beneficial
- Strong analytical, structured, and methodical working style
- Passion for new technologies and effective communication with stakeholders in low-automation environments
- Completed degree in Industrial Engineering with focus on Automation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; or degree in Business Administration with project execution experience
