Overview In this role you will serve as the central hub coordinating spare parts demand from Local Service Organizations and feeder factories, blending strategic forecasting with operational support. You will translate demand signals into actionable supply plans to boost service quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. Collaborating across supply chain, engineering, product management, and manufacturing, you’ll address demand and supply risks while driving continuous improvement in planning processes and data quality. This role offers the chance to impact ABB’s spare parts availability and service performance in a global, hybrid work environment. Verantwortungsbereiche Develop rolling demand forecasts for spare parts using inputs from LSOs, installed base, failure rates, service contracts, and product changes Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, product management, manufacturing and service teams to ensure parts availability and manage lead time and inventory planning Monitor forecast and supply KPIs, identify anomalies, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy, service levels, and on-time delivery Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, forecasting tools, ERP data quality, and automation while ensuring HSE and integrity standards compliance Zentrale Anforderungen Bachelor’s degree in a related field 5+ years of experience in spare parts planning, demand forecasting, or service operations Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and forecasting tools; proficiency in Excel/BI and e-commerce platforms Fluent English; additional European languages advantageous Strong analytical, data-driven mindset and ability to translate inputs into actionable recommendations Solid knowledge of spare parts strategies, service operations, and process improvement Excellent stakeholder management Cross-cultural communication Problem-solving mindset ERP systems (SAP) Forecasting tools Excel/BI solutions
