Your role and responsibilities
Would you like to develop your career and contribute your personality? Then play an active role in shaping the future of the energy sector. In our role in the area of medium-voltage technology, you will be responsible for preparing quotations and ensuring smooth order processing. As an important link to our customers and internal teams, you will ensure the quality and efficiency of our processes. Apply now and become part of an important team at ABB!
- Processing and coordination of inquiries for medium-voltage switchgear, independent preparation of technical and commercial offers and the maintenance and expansion of customer contacts.
- Control of the entire order process from order receipt to on-time delivery and, if necessary, commissioning.
- Initiating measures to achieve sales and earnings targets.
- Working closely with internal departments such as sales, technology and logistics to optimize the flow of information and meet customer requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and deadline requirements, actively supporting process improvement in the preparation of quotations and order processing.
- Collaboration in the optimization of internal communication and order processes.
Qualifications for the role
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, energy technology or comparable technical training.
- Initial experience in order processing, quotation preparation or project management for technical products, ideally in the field of energy or medium-voltage technology is desirable, but we are also happy to give career starters a chance.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Motivated, structured way of working as well as team spirit and high customer orientation, paired with an occasional willingness to travel.
- Fluent German and good English skills for communication in an international environment.
