Your Responsibilities:

This position within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team conducts pricing analysis and contract management for Region Central, with a special focus on Germany and group purchasing organizations (GPOs). In addition, the position will cooperate with Sales and GPO teams via financial analysis as well as to enable business decisions. The position will support the Pricing Manager driving the GPO investment strategy and contracts/tenders.

This position will report to the Pricing Manager EP Central and have significant interaction with the EP GPO managers, country commercial teams, the Quotation team and the FP&A team.

• Implement customer pricing strategy and guidelines during ongoing exchange with customers and commercial team
• Support GPO team with strong financial analysis to enable informed decision-making
• Support commercial team within defined approval processes on various topics
• Act as a business partner to the GPO organization as well as the entire Commercial organization
• Implement and monitor pricing KPIs and derive measures against price erosion
• Analyze price trends and ensure regular reviews of contracts and price lists
• Closely interact with FP&A team and contribute to Actuals analysis, Business Reviews and ad-hoc inquiries
• Support contract compliance processes in close collaboration with GPO and the Commercial organization; assure that all Abbott guidelines & policies with regards to pricing are followed
• Support processes related to quote and contract creation in cooperation with the EP Quotation team
• Contribute to the broader FP&A/Pricing team by proactively exchanging with fellow colleagues also across divisional borders

Your Profile:

• University degree, preferably in a Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting or related discipline
• Preferable 2-4 years of experience in sales, finance and/or consulting, combined with pricing topics as a plus, ideally in the healthcare sector; recent graduates with international experience and topic related internships are welcome as well. Additional experience in marketing, product management and/or sales controlling is beneficial
• Experience in managing relationships with commercial teams
• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Analytical skills and proven problem-solving skills
• Proven system skills, aptitude and experience, especially with Excel; previous experience with financial forecasting & reporting systems and SAP a plus
• Experience in processing and analyzing large data sets
• Fluent in English and German
• High degree of autonomy and flexibility in a dynamic and performance-oriented environment (proactive and self-driven)
