Our portfolio spans areas including bWomen's Health, Gastroenterology, Cardiometabolic Health, CNS Pain, and Respiratory Care /b, helping address some of healthcare's most pressing needs. /p h3About the Opportunity /h3 h3Primary Job Function: /h3 ul liGovern EPD's global product flow framework, ensuring financial, tax, customs, trade compliance, and supply chain requirements are reflected in efficient and compliant physical and financial product flows. /li liServe as the subject matter expert for product flow design and supply chain network considerations, supporting strategic sourcing decisions, new product introductions (NPI), biosimilars, samples, and commercial portfolio expansion. /li liCoordinate the evaluation, approval, documentation, and communication of new product flows and flow changes across global, regional, and local stakeholders. /li liMaintain and continuously improve product flow governance, databases, tools, and processes to ensure accurate documentation, financial compliance, and transparency across the EPD supply chain network. /li liLead and execute cross-functional supply chain projects related to product flow optimization, network changes, warehouse and distribution setup, compliance requirements, process improvements, and operational efficiencies. /li liProvide guidance, training, and expert support to Supply Chain Operations and other functions on product flow models, operational processes, and implementation requirements. /li /ul h3Core Job Responsibilities: /h3 h3Product Flow Governance Complianc e /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain product flow governance documentation, processes, and communication materials. /li liMaintain the global EPD Product Flow Database and related master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance. /li liManage the end-to-end approval process for new product flows and modifications to existing flows. /li liEnsure compliance with Abbott policies and external requirements related to transfer pricing, tax, VAT, customs, trade compliance, and legal entity structures. /li liServe as the primary point of contact for product flow-related inquiries across the organization. /li liSupport sourcing decisions, supply chain network optimization initiatives, and portfolio expansion projects. /li liMaintain landed-cost analyses and scenario evaluations to support business decision-making. /li liAssess operational, financial, compliance, and service implications of alternative supply chain network configurations. /li /ul h3Product Flow Council (PFC) /h3 ul liOrganize, facilitate, and lead Product Flow Council meetings. /li liReview, assess, and present proposed product flows and supply chain network changes. /li liDrive stakeholder alignment across Supply Chain, Finance, Tax, Customs Trade, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial, and Operations functions. /li liMonitor execution of approved actions and ensure timely implementation of decisions from a Supply Chain Operations perspective, including master data setup, pricing, plant extensions, transportation lanes, and related operational requirements. /li /ul h3Project related (linked to flows or other SC ops related projects) /h3 ul liLead Supply Chain Operations projects and workstreams related to product flow changes, network optimization, warehouse transitions, relabeling activities, product launches, biosimilars, and operational improvements. /li liDrive the operational implementation of approved product flow and network changes, ensuring operational readiness, compliance, business continuity, and seamless execution. /li liDefine and manage implementation plans, timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder alignment for Supply Chain Operations activities. /li liCoordinate cross-functional teams and execute key operational deliverables related to master data, transportation, customer service, warehousing, systems, and distribution. /li liTrack project progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and timelines, ensuring appropriate governance and timely execution of Supply Chain Operations activities. /li liProvide regular status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership, project sponsors, and key stakeholders. /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service performance, compliance, and cost optimization. /li /ul h3Samples related /h3 ul liProvide guidance on sample-related logistics, inventory movement, and compliance requirements. /li liFlow Determination for Samples /li liBiosimilar Samples (TMT, Registration/Submission, Commercial) -
