- The Position
The position of Sales Operations & Support Specialist (m/f/d) is within our Cardiometabolic Business Unit located at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Germany Gmb H in Cologne.
In the role you will provide operational and commercial support to the sales organization and customers, enabling the field sales team to focus on strategic sales activities and customer development.
- Your Tasks
- Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes as per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
- Responsible for preparation, coordination, and submission of commercial quotations and contract documentation in alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Coordination of vendor management activities and processing of purchase orders in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Process improvements: Identify and implement ways to improve processes within sales operations and administrative workflows.
- Supports SAP Warehouse & Inventory Transactions for Instruments.
- Update of new and existing customers /database.
- Supporting the Sales Team & Country Manager through detailed reports, statistics and analysis.
- Your Qualification
- Basic commercial training degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Work experience in Medical Devices / diagnostics or similar environment.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Understanding of data governance and reporting processes.
- Ideally experience delivering change initiatives and facilitating change in a customer focused organization.
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
