The primary objective of this role is to drive the adoption of cardiac occluder products, increase the utilization of Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE), achieve sales targets, and protect and expand market share. /p pWorking closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and key stakeholders within hospitals, the Sales Therapy Specialist identifies and develops business opportunities, supports clinical procedures, and contributes to optimizing patient outcomes. /p pIn addition, the Sales Therapy Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for all commercial and technical activities within the assigned territory. /p br/ pbKEY RESPONSIBILITIES /b /p ul liIndependently manage and develop all assigned customers and hospitals within the territory. /li liAchieve agreed sales objectives and drive market share growth. /li liDevelop and implement account plans to increase procedural volumes and accelerate business growth. /li liLead commercial negotiations, tenders, and procurement processes. /li liRepresent and defend Abbott’s pricing and value strategy. /li liAnalyze market and competitor activities and identify new business opportunities. /li liBuild and maintain sustainable relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. /li liCoordinate and support local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). /li liPromote the adoption of intraprocedural imaging solutions, particularly Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE), and image-guided workflows. /li liProvide technical and clinical support during Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) procedures using cardiac occluder devices. /li liSupport procedure planning, case reviews, and clinical decision-making processes. /li liDeliver product, therapy, and application training to physicians and catheterization laboratory teams. /li liServe as a technical and clinical resource for cardiac imaging, with a focus on Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE). /li liSupport pre-procedural planning and intraprocedural imaging activities. /li liCollaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and imaging specialists to optimize clinical workflows. /li liAct as a liaison between internal functions such as Clinical Studies, Sales, Customer Service, and Tender Management. /li liMaintain CRM/SFDC data and provide accurate sales and demand forecasts. /li liManage consignment inventory and ensure product availability. /li /ul br/ pbREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS /b /p ul liUniversity degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. /li liSeveral years of experience within the medical device industry. /li liProven experience supporting interventional cardiology procedures. /li liStrong track record of collaboration with interventional cardiologists. /li liExperience with cardiac occluder therapies for Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC). /li liExperience supporting procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and/or hybrid operating room environment. /li liKnowledge of cardiac imaging workflows, including pre-procedural planning and intraprocedural imaging. /li liExperience working with electrophysiologists and electrophysiology programs is preferred. /li liExperience with Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE) is an advantage. /li liStrong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. /li liDemonstrated expertise in account management and business development. /li liAbility to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships. /li liStrategic mindset with strong market and competitive awareness. /li liHigh level of initiative, accountability, and autonomy. /li liExcellent communication and training skills. /li liProficiency with CRM systems and sales processes. /li liFluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken. /li /ul br/ pbWORKING AT ABBOTT /b /p pAt Abbott, you can do work that matters, grow and learn, care for yourself and your family, be your true self, and live a full life.
