Overview In this role you will shape Abbott’s global patient engagement with patient organizations and insights used to inform medical, access, and policy decisions. You will build and evolve a cross-functional patient engagement capability, partnering with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Public Affairs, and Commercial teams. You will translate patient perspectives into strategic recommendations and foster partnerships that improve patient outcomes. This is a chance to strengthen patient voices across a global healthcare ecosystem and drive meaningful change. Verantwortungsbereiche Shape the global patient strategy and integrate patient perspectives into business and decision making Build and nurture partnerships with patient organizations and leaders for education, support, and evidence generation Translate patient insights into actionable recommendations for Medical Affairs, Market Access, and value-based initiatives Collaborate on patient-centered policy and advocacy initiatives to improve access and reduce barriers Develop frameworks and best practices for patient engagement and promote patient-centered ways of working Represent Abbott at industry meetings and advocacy forums to advance patient engagement across healthcare ecosystems Zentrale Anforderungen 5+ years in Patient Engagement or related field 10+ years of leadership in Medical Affairs, Market Access, Public Affairs, or related healthcare disciplines Strong experience with oncology, biologics/biosimilars, policy, HTA, and stakeholder engagement Proven ability to influence global organizations and manage external partnerships Excellent communication, storytelling, facilitation, and executive presentation skills Fluency in English; additional languages a plus strong communication facilitation executive presence external stakeholder engagement health policy HTA
