Overview
As Managing Director for Core Diagnostics in DACH & Nordics, you lead regional strategy, P&L and cross-functional performance to grow the business. You align sales, marketing, finance and operations with Abbott’s global scale, driving an innovative go-to-market model and a high-performance organization. You shape regulatory and stakeholder engagement while ensuring quality and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to influence market expansion and transform the regional operating model.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Ensure all activities comply with quality system requirements
- Implement a regional new business model and infrastructure to expand the business and focus on customer needs
- Lead the go-to-market strategy and strengthen customer relationships
- Transform organizational model to leverage global scale while respecting market differences
- Define and manage long-range regional strategic plans and balance with short-term needs
- Maintain strong profile with key stakeholders, regulators and KOLs
- Identify market growth opportunities and drive corrective actions as needed
- Drive efficient execution of key initiatives and build a high-performance organization
- Acquire and retain top talent to sustain profitability and a culture of innovation and accountability
- Promote ethical behavior and compliant marketing of products and services
- Ensure adherence to policies, quality, EHS and business requirements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- At least 5 years in commercial and/or financial roles reporting to General Manager
- Experience outside the country of origin preferred (2 years)
- Understanding of product technology, customer needs, markets and regulatory requirements
