The Opportunity
This position is based in the Cologne/Düsseldorf region at Abbott Diabetes Care – Abbott GmbH. We focus on helping people with diabetes manage their health with innovative products that provide accurate data for better decisions. We are revolutionizing glucose monitoring with new sensing technology.
Your Tasks:
- Achieve or exceed sales and market share targets, KPIs, and drive profitable growth in the assigned region, aligned with regional and national strategies
- Lead a team of 8-12 sales representatives
- Ensure all activities comply with quality system requirements
- Drive profitable revenue growth through volume, account, and expense management
- Meet targets through individual recognition, performance reviews, and rewards
- Implement successful product launches in the country
Your Qualifications:
- Postgraduate diploma or university degree with 3-5 years of leadership experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Pharma or Medical Devices
- Strong knowledge of the diabetes technology landscape and competitors
- Proven ability to work as an RSM with KOLs in healthcare
- Fluent in German and proficient in English
- Experience leading high-performance teams
- Ability to analyze KPIs effectively
- Engaging, motivating personality
