Abbott Diabetes Care, Abbott GmbH, is seeking a Senior Market Access Manager EMEAP (m/f/d) , based in Wiesbaden or one of the EU BIG 5 countries.

Major Accountabilities

• Develop and execute EMEA market access strategies for the ADC product portfolio, ensuring readiness for market launches across all EMEA markets.
• Support market differentiation by adapting global value stories to local healthcare contexts to prevent price erosion and expand access. Create communication platforms to reinforce product value.
• Design and implement mechanisms to enable and expand reimbursement, focusing on new customer segments, products, and digital health solutions.
• Partner with payers to develop integrated digital solutions and value modules.
• Negotiate local reimbursement expansions, analyze financial models, and maintain tender/pricing databases.
• Travel approximately 20%, depending on location.

Education

• Required: Advanced Degree in Science, Economics, Legal, or related fields.
• Preferred: Medical Degree, Master’s in Market Access, Public Health, Health Economics, or Health Policy.

Background and Experience

• Preferred: 5-7 years in reimbursement and market access within pharma, medical devices, or related sectors, including experience with payers, healthcare consultancies, or disease management organizations. Local market access experience is a plus. Knowledge of diabetes and blood glucose measurement is beneficial. Proven success in reimbursement strategies, strong negotiation and project management skills, and a background in evidence-based medicine, health economics, or public health are desirable. Key competencies include setting vision, making tough decisions, and results-driven execution.
