As an SAP Business IT Architect, you will be responsible for the holistic architecture of our state-of-the-art SAP S/4HANA landscape in the Real Estate division. Your focus will be on harmonizing our business processes and interfaces. You will design integration architectures, standards, and governance frameworks, and drive release and change processes to implement stable, high-performance, and scalable solutions. You will optimize data flows, drive the digital transformation of business and IT, and actively shape the digital roadmap for a growing real estate portfolio. Responsibilities SAP Solution Design: You will advise business units on process optimization within the SAP landscape (ideally with a focus on BI, AI, or the RE-FX, FI/CO, or PM) and ensure their integration with peripheral systems. Real Estate Process Consulting: You translate real estate business requirements (e.g., lease management, utility billing, maintenance) into efficient IT processes. Architecture Governance: You provide guidance on the "standard vs. customization” decision, thereby ensuring that the IT architecture remains maintainable and future-proof. Interface & Cloud Management: You design the integration of third-party systems (PropTechs, portals, metering service providers) via APIs or the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). In particular, you also support us in modernizing, harmonizing, and optimizing our integration landscape. Overview of the Entire Integration Landscape: You will design, standardize, and migrate interfaces (data flows, interfaces, middleware) across all relevant systems. Project Management & Roadmap: You will oversee IT projects in the SAP environment and drive the transformation toward cloud and S/4HANA infrastructures. In doing so, you will also design our new BI and reporting cloud architecture. Stakeholder Management: You will act as a strategic advisor to executive management and the business units. Requirements Professional Qualifications: Education: Degree in (Business) Information Technology or comparable expertise gained through professional experience. SAP Expertise: Broad SAP know-how, ideally several years of professional experience as an SAP architect or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of SAP BW/BI; SAP RE-FX, FI/CO, PS/PM. Knowledge of SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and SAP Cloud Integrations is desirable. Industry Knowledge: Ideally, industry experience in the real estate sector. Methodology: Experience in process modeling and agile project methods (Scrum/Kanban). Technology Stack: Strong understanding of SAP cloud technologies, SAP Fiori, S/4HANA, and modern integration scenarios (BTP, OData, REST). Personal Skills: Translation Skills: You are fluent in both "business” and "IT” and can explain complex business and IT logic in a way that users can understand. Analytical Excellence: You identify dependencies in complex system landscapes before problems arise. Confidence: You confidently facilitate workshops and can mediate between business units and IT even when requirements conflict.
