Senior App Engineer (m/f/d) - Purchase & Post Purchase - Onsite in Hamburg or Berlin

We are currently seeking a skilled App Engineer to support us in building the fastest and most intuitive shopping app using a new tech stack onsite in Hamburg or remotely within Germany.

The Shop Applications Team continually improves the App, Mobile Website, and Desktop Website. These large-scale products are each visited by over 8 million active users monthly. The team\’s goal is to provide our customers with an inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and user-friendly shopping experience. They strive to push the boundaries of what is considered \“state of the art\“ in customer-facing products.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-impact features and improvements to the AY App using Dart and Flutter, contributing to one of the most widely-used Flutter applications.
• Collaborate closely with experienced developers, product managers, QA, and designers to develop new components and features.
• Identify and resolve technical debt proactively and develop internal tools to enhance team productivity.
• Contribute to team processes through regular agile retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Dart and Flutter.
• Strong expertise in UI development and complex frontend logic.
• Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, maintaining high code quality.
• Nice to have: Design awareness, experience with gRPC and Go in backend environments, expertise in UI and animation development.
